Who doesn't love a vacation? A chance to get away from the hectic world we live
We recently put together this online marketing video for a quiet resort in the Caribbean. Our team came up with a fresh concept for the client - instead of a bunch of shots of the resort, we'd showcase the difference between everyday hectic life and the peace and solitude of an island vacation.
An online marketing video is one of the quickest ways to connect with visitors to your site. Here are a couple tips to keep in mind:
1. Engage quickly - catch the eye of your viewer with something interesting and different. In this example, we used catchy music, timelapse video and kinetic typography.
2. Tell the story differently - In this case, we approached the advertisement for an island resort from a different angle - instead of showing off the resort throughout the whole piece, we showed the things that we'd all like to get away from. And then the resort became the solution at the end. We dropped off the music and ended with nothing but the sound of waves.
3. Make it relevant to your audience - In this case, the client was reaching out to the metro New York City area. So we used shots from in and around the City to make it stand out to this demographic.
